DAPK1 and glioblastoma: Serine/threonine kinase 17A, also known as death-associated protein kinase-related apoptosis-inducing protein kinase 1 (DRAK1), is a member of the death-associated protein kinase (DAPK) family and falls within the category of the “dark kinome.” DRAK1 has been implicated in the development of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and other types of cancers.
