Wilms’ tumor 1 (WT1) is a gene located at chromosome 11p13, initially discovered in childhood kidney cancers and overexpressed in other hematological malignancies (leukemia) and solid cancers, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, renal cancer, endometrial carcinoma, and glioblastoma [100,101,102]. The gene discussed is WT1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
