CRP and nutritional deficiency disease: Patients classified as malnourished exhibited a significantly elevated median CRP value (3.9 ± 5.9 mg/dL) in contrast to those at risk of malnutrition (2.9 ± 5.4 mg/dL) or having a normal nutritional status (0.8 ± 2.3 mg/dL, p < 0.001).
