AKT1 and neoplasm: The PIK3CA inhibitor Copanlisib caused a decrease in tumor volume in five cases [30]; another preclinical result suggests that combination regimens using C-ERB/PIK3CA/AKT/mTOR inhibitors may improve responses and induce long-lasting clinical responses in patients with USC [31]; and in pre-clinical models of Cyclin E1 overexpression, the CDK2/9 inhibition has been suggested to have efficacy [32].
