TNF and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder: The ROC analysis in ADHD males revealed that significantly changed parameters (i.e., IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, and the M1 profile) and their combination indicated good prediction abilities (AUC greater than 0.8) for ADHD in males, while the ROC analysis in ADHD females revealed that significantly changed parameters (i.e., TNF-α and proinflammatory/anti-inflammatory ratio) and their combination between ADHD females and control females indicated excellent prediction abilities (AUC = 1) for ADHD in females.
