Regarding the characteristics of lung cancer, EGFR or ALK mutations and smoking history were similar between the two groups (45.5% vs. 31.8%, p = 0.353 for mutations; 13.0 ± 20.0 vs. 13.3 ± 19.9 pack-year, p = 0.958 for smoking). Here, EGFR is linked to lung carcinoma.
