In this study, using datasets available in our original publications [6,9,13,14], we discovered 11 mRNAs (HSPD1,SRSF3, VAPA, RAB1A, MORF4L1, PGK1, RHOA, UBE2D3, DAZAP2, UBC, ACTG1) that were stable across datasets including different pre-analytical conditions, men and women, healthy controls, T1D and T2D patients with different albuminuria status; and prostate cancer patients (Figure 4, Figure 5, Figure 6, Figures S1 and S2). This evidence concerns the gene VAPA and prostate carcinoma.
