According to other reports, CDCA7 could enhance the activation of TGF-β and thereby promote ferroptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells by repressing the expression of SLC7A11 and enhancing lipid peroxidation [19,20], which is inconsistent with our inference that CDCA7 inhibits ferroptosis in gliomas.
