They both inhibit Pin1 activity, and VS2 in particular showed antiproliferative activity with IC50 to be 19 ± 310 μM, 66 ± 6 μM, and 29 ± 4 μM in three ovarian cancer cells, SKOV3, OVCAR5 and OVCAR3, respectively, highlighting the role of powerful computational screening algorithms in the development of new potent Pin1 inhibitors [244].
