It is known that multiple danger signals can promote caspase‐1‐dependent production of inflammatory factors such as IL‐1β and IL‐18 via the NLRP3 inflammasome, which further cause immune cell activation such as T cells and natural killer cells, and release of inflammatory factors such as IFN‐γ and TNF‐α, which play important roles in the development of psoriasis.15 This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and psoriasis.
