MRPL58 and Rotavirus infection: The surveillance of rotavirus infection in Thailand from 2012 to 2014 revealed that the uncommon DS-1-like G1P[8] strains carrying DS-1-like human rotavirus genes (G1-P[8]-I2-R2-C2-M2-A2-N2-T2-E2-H2) were detected and G1P[8] appeared to be originated from human Wa-like G1P[8] strains through reassortment and these Thai G1P[8] strains were most similar to the Japanese DS-1-like G1P[8] [65].
