The upregulated tiRNA-1:34-Val-CAC-2 promotes its interaction with the AGO2 protein to silence the expression of LRP6, an essential membrane protein receptor of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, by targeting LRP6 mRNA in a miRNA-like manner and further inhibits the metastasis and proliferation of GC cells and promotes the apoptosis of GC cells through the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway (57). Here, AGO2 is linked to gastric cancer.
