Common molecular subtypes of breast cancer include luminal A (LA), luminal B (LB), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 over-expression (HER2+) and triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), and different molecular subtypes show significant differences in biological behavior, clinical outcome and patient prognosis (Lüönd et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
