Hongegger et al. (39) reported an independent correlation between Ki67 and invasiveness in NFPAs, while Chiloiro et al. (40) concluded that Ki-65 expression of more than 1.5% is associated with a greater risk of cavernous and sphenoid sinus invasion, which is in contrast to our findings, but their study included a cohort of functioning and non-functioning pituitary adenomas which can bias their data. Here, MKI67 is linked to pituitary gland adenoma.
