ACE and asthma: The American College of Chest Physicians recommends systematically evaluating and treating common conditions that cause cough, including asthma, reflux disease, upper‐airway cough syndrome (UACS), nonasthmatic eosinophilic bronchitis and iatrogenic cough; ruling out cough‐inducing drugs such as angiotensin‐converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors is also recommended.14
