It is known that CDK16 plays an important role in the development and progression of various cancer cells, such as breast cancer cell MDA-MB-468, colon cancer cell HCT-116, prostatic cancer cell DU-145, etc., rather than breast cancer cell MCF-7 (Yanagi et al., 2014; Yanagi et al., 2016). Here, CDK16 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
