Recently, quercetin, a flavonoid from Bupleurum was found to modulate the TME and improve the efficacy of temozolomide by significantly decreasing the levels of interleukin-8 (IL‐8), IL‐6, and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which are related to the drug resistance of glioblastoma cells 96. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL8 and glioblastoma.
