CCL2 and Hepatic fibrosis: The qPCR results showed that overexpression of miR-552-3p significantly reduced the mRNA levels of fibrotic genes (Col1a1, Col3a1, Timp-2) and inflammatory genes (Il-6, Ccl2, F4/80) in mice livers, which demonstrated that miR-552-3p could reduce liver fibrosis and inflammation in mice again (Figure 4L-M).
