MME and coronary artery disorder: Compared with the STICH cohort, the REVIVED patients were 10 years older on average (mean age of 70 years); had a greater CAD burden (including left main CAD); received more contemporary guideline-directed medical therapy, including recent disease-modifying drugs (i.e., mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists [MRAs] and angiotensin receptor or neprilysin inhibitors); and were more frequently treated using device therapies (i.e., cardiac resynchronization therapy or implantable intracardiac defibrillators [ICDs]).
