In the proPSMA study, a multicentric randomized clinical trial of 302 patients aimed at investigating the accuracy of Ga68-PSMA-11 in staging prostate cancer in high-risk patients at initial presentation compared to conventional imaging, PSMA PET showed superior accuracy (92% compared to 65% in conventional imaging), sensitivity (85% versus 38%) [30].
