Correlation analysis indicated that CEA, CA199, NLR, D-dimer and CD8+ were positively correlated with whether the patient had colon cancer (r=0.841, 747, 991, 889, 565, all P<0.05), but negative correlations were observed with CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ ratio (r=-0.999, -0.994, all P<0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and colonic neoplasm.
