The result of the study found that decreased levels of serum IL-6 have a positive correlation with Safety of Estrogens in Lupus Erythematosus National Assessment–Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index (SLEDAI) reduction, and there were no significant differences in SLEDAI reduction, decreased serum level of IL-6, and increased levels of TGF-β1 serum among group after treatment (Singgih Wahono et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and lupus erythematosus.
