In our previous animal experiments, AQP1 and NGAL in urine of rats with non-oliguria acute renal injury induced by disseminated intravascular coagulation were detected, and found that AQP1 in urine increased earlier than NGAL, and the magnitude of the increase was more obvious than NGAL, suggesting that AQP1 may be used as a diagnostic marker of AKI. The gene discussed is AQP1; the disease is acute kidney injury.
