GFAP and Alzheimer disease: Most biomarkers performed slightly better in discriminating MCI-AD from healthy controls (Aβ42/40 AUC = 0.63 [0.50 to 0.76], p-tau181 = 0.79 [0.68 to 0.91], GFAP = 0.82 [0.72 to 0.91], NfL = 0.72 [0.61 to 0.84]) and slightly worse in discriminating MCI-LB from controls (Aβ42/40 AUC = 0.63 [0.52 to 0.75], p-tau181 = 0.69 [0.57 to 0.82], GFAP = 0.71 [0.60 to 0.82], NfL = 0.67 [0.55 to 0.78]).
