In hepatocellular carcinoma, the overexpression of C1QTNF1-AS1 was shown to regulate miR-221-3p and suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3), leading to a decrease in cancer cells’ proliferation, migration, and invasion, while also inducing apoptosis via the JAK/STAT signaling pathway [75,76]. This evidence concerns the gene SOAT1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
