The clinical data of 42 patients with RCC and bone metastasis and at least one episode of SRE were reviewed, and the correlations between erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), C-reactive protein (CRP), haemoglobin (Hb), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and bone metastases were analysed. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and bone metastasis.
