Out of the 452 children, there were 25 abnormal results of ATPO (M = 254.5 U/mL, SD = 619.9 U/mL), and 19 of ATG (M = 792.5 UI/mL, SD = 1157.3 UI/mL), altogether 30 cases of newly diagnosed thyroid autoimmunity (TA) were observed (6.6%) (See Fig. 2 and Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene ATP5PO and autoimmune thyroid disease.
