To further clarify the role of SLC3A2 in the anti-tumor effect of everolimus, we demonstrated that overexpression of SLC3A2 significantly reversed the anti-tumor effect of everolimus in both MCF7 and T47D cells (Fig. 5G, Fig. S5A), while downexpression of SLC3A2 significantly enchanced the anti-tumor effect of everolimus in both MCF7 and T47D cells (Fig. S5B, C).
