CXCL8 and colorectal cancer: Yu et al. systematically examined the expression of CXC chemokines in colorectal cancer and observed that the expression of CXCL1-3, CXCL5, and CXCL8 were increased in colorectal cancers tissues than in colorectal tissues 9, suggesting that these chemokines can be used as potential treatment targets and prognostic indicators and that they might participate in the anti-tumor or tumorigenicity response.
