Regarding the selection of B7-H6 as a possible additional marker of oral cancer, we should consider that NK cells (and other immune cells) also express a series of activating receptors, including the so-called Natural Cytotoxicity Receptors (NCR), that include NKp46 (NCR1), NKp44 (NCR2) and NKp30 (NCR3). Here, NCR3 is linked to lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
