After conducting a thorough analysis of published studies on cfDNA methylation in pancreatic cancer, as well as a comparative methylation analysis using the TCGA database, we have identified a set of consistently reported hypermethylated genes: BMP3, NPTX2, SFRP1, SPARC, and TFPI2 [18–20]. The gene discussed is SPARC; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
