In the prognostic model for LCC patients, two genes (FosB proto-oncogene AP-1transcription factor subunit [FOSB] and chromosome 11 openreading frame 96 [C11orf96]) were risk factors (hazard ratio [HR] >1), whilethree (ribosomal protein L35 [RPL35], regenerating familymember 1 alpha [REG1A], and tescalcin [TESC])were protective factors (HR <1; Figure3A). Here, REG1A is linked to leukoencephalopathy with calcifications and cysts.
