By analyzing the Cancer Therapeutics Response Portal (CTRP) database, we found that the elevated gene expression of SLC3A2 was positively correlated with resistance to GPX4 inhibitors such as RSL3, ML162, and ML210, especially in RLS3-treated pancreatic cancer cell lines (Fig. 3B, Fig. S3A, B). Here, GPX4 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
