Diverse biological therapies have been studied for the treatment of eosinophilic esophagitis including anti‐IL5 (mepolizumab, reslizumab), anti‐IgE (omalizumab), anti‐IL4r (dupilumab), anti‐IL13 (RPC4046, alias cendakimab; QAX576, alias dectrekumab), and anti‐sialic acid binding Ig‐like lectin 8 (Siglec‐8) (lirentelimab) (Nhu 2022). This evidence concerns the gene IL4R and eosinophilic esophagitis.
