IL4 and asthma: The prevalence of the IL4 rs2243250 T allele in the group ofasthma patients relative to the control group was shown (28 %versus 23.5 %, p = 0.05), with the frequency of the heterozygousCT genotype of IL4 rs2243250 being also statisticallysignificantly higher in asthma patients compared to the controlgroup (p = 0.006).
