Our previous study found that DIMT1 was highly expressed in GC tissues, and its high expression is closely correlated with differentiation, tissue invasion, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, and clinical Tumor Node Metastasis (TNM) staging of GC, and it has a negative impact on the prognosis of the GC patients.10 However, specific mechanisms need to be elucidated and require further investigation. This evidence concerns the gene DIMT1 and gastric cancer.
