Our previous study identified that DIMT1 was highly expressed in GC tissues, and the high expression of DIMT1 is closely correlated with differentiation and clinical TNM staging of GC, and it has a negative relation to the prognosis of the GC patients.10 These results suggested that DIMT1 might be involved in GC progression regulation, and so we considered it could promote GC cell proliferation and anti-apoptotic.
