CPXM2, also highly upregulated, has been associated with “fatness” in pigs (RNA-Seq) (49) and Grabowski et al., showed that CPXM2 can mediate cardiac hypertrophy and hypertension in rats (50), characteristics associated with patients with ROHHAD syndrome (8). The gene discussed is CPXM2; the disease is rapid-onset childhood obesity-hypothalamic dysfunction-hypoventilation-autonomic dysregulation syndrome.
