CHAMP1 and neurodevelopmental disorder: CHAMP1, or chromosome alignment maintaining phosphoprotein 1, is a gene located on the long arm of chromosome 13 and mutations in the gene are associated with CHAMP1-related neurodevelopmental disorder, or CHAMP1 disorder (Garrity et al. 2021; Hempel et al. 2015; Isidor et al. 2016; Itoh et al. 2011; Levy et al. 2022b; Tanaka et al. 2016).
