HSPB1 overexpression led to decreased expression of IKβ-α (a negative regulator of NF-κB) and increased expression of NF-κB, p-IKβ-α, and downstream molecules of NF-κB (Twist1, IL6, and Survivin) in breast cancer cells (Fig. 4A), indicating the potential role of HSPB1 in regulating NF-κB activity.
