Relative to CTRL-R mice, the relative abundances of the gut microbiota at the phylum level were altered in ARDS-R mice (Fig. 2f), where the ratio of (B + F)/F was significantly higher in ARDS-R mice (Fig. 2g), implying that increased Gram-negative bacteria in ARDS/CAP patients was transferred to recipient mice. This evidence concerns the gene CTRL and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
