Fibroblasts from ADLD patients and those from healthy donors transduced with LMNB1 were found to display a higher activation of inflammatory pathways compared to controls: in western blot analysis, the amount of phosphorylated NF-kB and Stat4 was consistently higher in ADLD fibroblasts [38]. Here, LMNB1 is linked to adult-onset autosomal dominant demyelinating leukodystrophy.
