S100A8 and endometrial carcinoma: Of note, Lang et al. has reported that targeted silencing of the S100A8 gene by miR-24 increases chemotherapy sensitivity of endometrial carcinoma cells to paclitaxel [33], while Li et al. found that the level of S100A8 expression was superior to molecular subtyping in predicting chemo responses in 120 cases of BC patients [34].
