The effective reinforcement of anticancer immunity by the combination therapy is probably achieved by depleting tumor-infiltrating myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) or modulating expression profile of tumor-related immune cytokines, wherein the immunosuppressive cytokines IL-6, IL-10 and TGF-β were reduced and the immune-stimulating cytokine IFN-γ was elevated by the application of the combined therapy. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and neoplasm.
