In the logistic regression models adjusted for age, sex, education, BMI, polypharmacy, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, total serum protein, serum albumin, living alone vs. with someone, alcohol consumption, smoking, depressive symptom, decline of physical function, and cognitive decline, pre-frailty (vs. robustness) was associated with greater probability of concomitant anorexia of ageing (OR 1.53, 95%CI 1.16–2.32, p = 0.007).
