In 5-fluorouracil-resistant HCT116 colon cancer cells, curcumin reversed the resistance by regulating the TET1-NKD-Wnt signaling pathway to inhibit the EMT process [106], while in oxaliplatin-resistant HCT116 colon cancer cells, curcumin overcame the resistance by regulating the TGF-β/Smad2/3 signaling pathway to inhibit the EMT process [107].
