BRAF and breast cancer: Similar independent studies were performed on anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) cell lines, CAL-62 and 8505C (wild type and harboring BRAF V600E, respectively), exposed to LDL conditions and showed comparable results regarding LDLR protein expression, LDL uptake, cellular proliferation and MAPK signaling pathway (Figure S6).These data are in accordance with previous studies that demonstrates LDL capacity to induce the proliferation, migration and loss of adhesion in breast cancer cells [38].
