In myeloid leukemia cell lines harboring TP53 heterozygous allele, IR can no longer stimulate GADD45α expression, whereas MMS, UV radiation, and serum depletion can still promote GADD45α transcription in breast and colon cancer cell lines with a negative TP53 status [72,73].
