Although GSK-3 plays a role in the regulation of β-catenin, we did not focus on elraglusib-mediated effects on β-catenin because colon cancers often harbor mutations in β-catenin or adenomatous polyposis coli (APC), thus nullifying any impact GSK-3 inhibition would have on β-catenin expression. This evidence concerns the gene APC and colonic neoplasm.
