NR2F1-AS1 is upregulated in non-small cell lung [71], thyroid [72], pancreatic [73], and hepatocellular [74] cancers; in pancreatic cancer, it is induced by hypoxia, its expression is positively correlated with the expression of its sense gene NR2F1, and they both trigger the AKT and mTOR pathways, promoting proliferation, migration, and invasion [75].
