In patients with other lung neoplasms and the -735CT genotype, MMP-2 concentrations were also found to be significantly higher than in patients with the -735CT genotype and adenocarcinoma (x ̄ = 164.48 ng/mL vs. x ̄ = 126.37 ng/mL, respectively, p = 0.003789), and squamous cell carcinoma (x ̄ = 164.48 ng/mL vs. x ̄ = 130.43 ng/mL, respectively, p = 0.029928). This evidence concerns the gene MMP2 and lung neoplasm.
